The parent-to-parent carpooling app reducing carbon, cost, congestion, and congitive load from the daily school runs.
Our Aim
United Parents helps families share school runs safely and simply.
By connecting trusted local parents, we reduce daily stress, improve air quality around schools,
and help create cleaner, more liveable streets for children

“Having an app that not only allows you to plan your week better but improves the environment and allows for fewer cars on the road is something society should aspire to.”
Daniel, father of two

“If a neighbour asked for my help, I would not hesitate, and I know it goes the other way. But we won’t ask, this is part of the British culture, we won’t admit we need help, but this solution would help tackle this.”
AN ANONYMOUS parent

“I think this is a really brilliant idea. It will support parents in so many ways — and at the same time is really positive for the planet.”

The problem with school runs
Stressful – 59% of UK parents dislike the school run, primarily due to road congestion.
Polluting – The school runs in the UK generate 2.5 million tonnes of CO2 emissions/year, almost as much as the whole of Niger (Homerun).
Inefficient – In London, 65% of 1–2 miles school runs are done by car (Solve the School Run).

Our bespoke solution
Time saved – Share the load with other local parents and free up your time.
Less stress – Reduce daily pressure by planning school lifts in advance, with flexible options.
Less congestion – Fewer individual trips means less traffic and less pollution around schools.

“School runs are a massive problem, there’s too many cars and not enough parking. Due to neighbours complaining, yellow lines have been placed on the road. Children are now having to walk through busy and dangerous roads to get to school. Taxis are also driving some of our children to school.”
Chris, School representative

“I am already dreading doing school drop-offs for my next child because of parking issues. I would use the app.”
Danni, a pregnant mother

“When the three of us made our schedules (texting, calling…) we organised ourselves for the week. However, it happened that in the context of our work, there were changes… Hence reorganisation, phone, texts… So much so that I sometimes had a doubt about who was going to pick up the children! “
Marie, who did carpooling for school runs
